​Kristen Engel is an artist living in the Pacific Northwest. Art has always been an integral part of her life. As an elementary school teacher for ten years, Kristen integrated the arts into her everyday teaching. After the birth of her three girls, art found its way into her life professionally. She began painting for children’s rooms, and currently enjoys painting abstracts, landscapes and figures. She often works in acrylics, but likes experimenting with different medium. With loose strokes and lots of layers, she hopes her paintings leave room for the imagination to tell its own story. Kristen enjoys sharing her passion by teaching art lessons in classrooms to kids of all ages.
